Nani Says Okay To Script Rejected By Allu Arjun?
Stylish star Allu Arjun has become cautious about choosing films. He was last seen in Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India which became a dud at the box office. Even though Allu Arjun nailed it as an angry soldier in the film, the content failed to help the film fetch the bucks at the box office. It has been more than six months since the film tanked at the box office without a trace. But Allu Arjun is yet to announce details of his next project.
After Naa Peru Surya, Bunny had decided to work with Vikram Kumar who had delivered the blockbuster hit Manam. Vikram worked for more than six months to pen down a script. When Vikram went to narrate the story to Bunny, the Naa Peru Surya actor apparently asked him to put the film on hold for a while. On the other hand, Bunny was busy reading other scripts and scouting for a relatable content. At the time, Jr NTR's Aravinda Sametha was released and went on to become a blockbuster hit at the box office. Allu Arjun who is reeling under pressure to enthral his fans rejected Vikram’s film and gave his nod to Trivikram.
Grapevine suggests that the script which was rejected by Allu Arjun then went to Natural star Nani. By now you would know which film we are talking about. It is Nani's forthcoming flick Jersey which is shaping up well. Nani faced back to back flops with Krishnarjuna Yuddham and Devadas. Nani had a successful year with a reality show Bigg Boss which made him popular and draw a fat salary which could be more than his pay cheque for films. It remains to be seen if Bunny's rejection helps Nani score a hit at the box office.
