Tollywood actor Allu Arjun has reportedly hiked his fee to a staggering Rs 150 crore for the highly anticipated sequel Pushpa 2: The Rule. This makes him one of the highest-paid actors in Indian cinema.

The first Pushpa film, released in 2021, was a blockbuster success. Ahead of the sequel's release on August 15, Pushpa 2 has already secured deals worth crores. According to reports, the movie bagged a Rs 275 crore deal with streaming giant Netflix. It also secured a Rs 200 crore theatrical rights deal in North India and Rs 250 crore for digital rights.

Allu Arjun's current pay is around Rs 100 crore per film. The reported hike to Rs 150 crore represents a significant 30 percent increase in his remuneration. The actor's skyrocketing demand for Rs 150 crore for Pushpa 2 has left the industry in shock and awe.

In addition to the Pushpa sequel, Allu Arjun will collaborate with director Atlee for another project. However, the actor is not considering any Bollywood films at the moment.

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles. The makers recently unveiled a teaser and the first song promo fueling excitement among fans.
