Howeover, his latest outing Agnyaathavaasi opened to negative feedback from the audiences. Bad publicity prior to release worked against Agnyaathavaasi. Pawan previous releases Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Katamarayudu bombed at the box office. Obviously, fans are disappointed.

One of Pawan's fan was attacked with a blade by a Balayya fan after an argument over Agnyaathavaasi and Jaisimha. Pawan's fan was rushed to a hospital where he is undergoing treatment in Srikakulam. It is to be seen if the Power Star will take out time to visit his ailing fan at the hospital.
