Is young KTR going to take up big assignment to set the TRS house in order?

Is he being readied up for the post of party’s working president? Indications are that the TRS is moving towards anointing Kalwakuntla Taraka Rama Rao aka KTR as the party’s working president and the party plenary, scheduled to being on April 24, is likely to become the occasion for the anointment.

The TRS is taking steps to make the plenary a big success. Over 36000 delegates will attend the plenary being organized in the Lal Bahadur stadium. Of late, the party leaders are feeling that due to his preoccupation in administrative affairs, KCR is unable to focus on the party organizational work. As a result, several important issues relating to the party organization are lying pending. Hence, a working president’s need is being increasingly felt by the party leaders.

Insiders also say that the party supremo had already collected opinions from senior party leaders and has reportedly come to the conclusion that a working president is indeed necessary. To balance the internal party equations, KCR is also reportedly toying with the idea of making Harish Rao incharge of the governance related issues. Sources said with Harish and KTR taking care of both the governance and party organizational work respectively, KCR himself could focus more on other pressing issues.
