Revanth Reddy Moves High Court Over Threat To Life

Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president Revanth Reddy approached the High Court on Tuesday seeking additional security as he said he has a threat to his life from certain anti-social elements.

Stating that the State government did not respond to his request on providing security against threats from certain political rivals, he pleaded the Court to give him security cover in a petition.

In his petition to the High Court, the Kodangal MLA mentioned Union Home Secretary, Telangana Chief Secretary and Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, Telangana, Chief Election Comissioner, Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana, DGP and Vikarabad SP as defendants. It is likely that Justice Akula Venkata Shesha Sai will hear Revanth Reddy's petition on Wednesday.
