Why Are Not My Fans Watching My Films?: Sohel

Sohel Ryan rose to fame with the popular reality show Bigg Boss Telugu in 2020. After the show, Sohel was featured in Mr. Pregnant, Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu, and Lucky Lakshman. They did decent business at the box office. 

Sohel's Bootcut Balaraju was released in theatres on February 2, 2024. He became emotional after watching the film at Prasads Multiplex, Hyderabad, on Friday. 

Sohel asked his fans why they were not watching his movies in theatres. "I used to get a lot of messages from thousands of people. They used to support and love me. What happened now? Why are they not supporting my movies? Why are you guys not watching movies? Please go and watch my film. People are saying that these days filmmakers are not making family entertainer movies. Bootcut Balaraju is a new concept film that can be watched with the family," Sohel said.

"People who have watched are heaping praises on the film. People are not watching movies even if there is good content. I will try to do adult content movies if that's what you people need. Bootcut Balaraji is a good film. We don't have money to do promotions. I am requesting everyone to watch the film. We are getting calls that shows are getting cancelled due to a lack of occupancy. People should encourage us when we make good films," he added.
