Makers of Pawan Kalyan-starrer ‘OG’ movie shared an update on Sunday. DVV Entertainment unveiled the first look of Emraan Hashmi in the Telugu movie on his birthday.

Taking to X, the makers of OG expressed their birthday wishes to the Bollywood actor and also revealed his character’s name in the film.

“Happy Birthday deadliest OMI BHAU…@emraanhashmi. Couldn’t imagine a clash more electrifying than with #OG #TheyCallHimOG,” DVV Entertainment tweeted.

The first look of the upcoming film shows the actor with thick facial hair and a scar on eyebrow. The actor can be seen lighting a cigar. Google Translate showed the text ‘ferocious hyena’ in English when we tried to use its Google Lens feature to translate the possibly Japanese text on his lighter. Emraan is playing the role of a gangster called ‘Omi Bha’ in the movie. OG marks Emraan Hashmi’s Telugu debut.

Sujeeth’s directorial “They call him OG” also stars Priyanka Arul Mohan, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Sriya Reddy, Harish Uthaman, Tej Sapru, Abhimanyu Singh and Ajay Ghosh. The film is slated for release in theatres in September this year.
