1. TRS Chief KCR meets MK Stalin
Telangana Rashtra Samiti chief K Chandrashekhar Rao's bid to rope in DMK in his proposed alternative front appeared to be a non-starter with the Dravidian party chief M K Stalin urging the Telangana Chief Minister to extend TRS's support to the Congress.

The Election Commission on Monday shunted out joint collector of Andhra Pradesh's Kadapa district for his failure to stop screening of Telugu movie Lakshmi's NTR in theatres early this month. The ECI transferred Joint Collector Koteswar Rao to non-election post. This followed State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Gopal Krishna Dwivedi recommending action against him.
4. Azharuddin asks KCR to take action on Amberpet issue
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Working President and former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin on Monday demanded strict action against officials of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), commenting on the ongoing row over the demolition of the Masjid-Ek-Khana in Hyderabad's Amberpet area. He also said that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao must respond to the incident and take strict action against those found guilty.

The Enforcement Directorate is set to take custody of Nowhera Shaik, managing director of the Heera Group, on Tuesday. The court on Monday allowed the ED to take her custody for seven days and question her in connection with the alleged money laundering committed by the company.
11. Class X student attempts suicide over results
Depressed at not passing the Class X examinations, 19-year-old student G. Shiva Kumar from Vikarabad district attempted suicide by consuming a pesticide at his home on Monday. He was rushed to the Vikarabad government hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
