Hyderabadis Like Longer Holidaying: Report
Hyderabad: According to a global travel search engine, tourists from Hyderabad tend to have longer average holiday when compared to tourists from destinations like Pune and Jaipur.
Search engine Kayak claimed that people in Ahmedabad are on top with average travel duration of 11 days followed by Hyderabadis and Mumbaikars with eight days each. The website also added that Indians are showing interest in visiting cities like London and Singapore in the first six months of this year.
European cities like Amsterdam, Athens and Male were the top three destinations for Indians who would like to visit, the site claimed.
Indians search for travel destinations during afternoon hours in the day. While people in Mumbai and Kolkata regularly search for holiday tours around 3.30pm to 4.30pm during the day which seemed to be the preferred time to make travel plans and book tickets.
