Naa Peru Surya Critic Gets Rape Threat From Bunny Fans

Fans of Allu Arjun reportedly threatened to rape and kill a female journalist from Kerala after she pointed out to the flaws in the recently release Bunny film Naa Peru Surya. We already told you that the film was released in Malayalam. Aparna Prashanti shared her review of the film on her Facebook page.

"I got a headache while watching the movie but I couldn't leave the theatre since it was raining heavily," the post read.

Minutes after updating her status, several comments poured in from the actor's fans demanding an apology for her review. They also abused and threatened her of rape and death if she did not apologise to the actor.

"Most of the comments are from the Telugu fans of Allu Arjun and the groups which had the actor's picture on the accounts," she said lodging a complaint against them.
Aparna Prashanti, a film critic shared the post on Wednesday and ever since being flooded with threatening comments and messages.

"I gave negative rating for many of the films but I did not get any abusive comments as such. They came down heavily on me and even my family members," she regretted. "Whoever is the reviewer male or female, these kind of fans start attacking the women with their vulgar language," she added.

"Messages were also sent to my friends who commented in support asked me to apologise for the post," she said adding that her Facebook account has been blocked due to mass messages from Allu Arjun fans.

Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India was released on May 4 in seven languages and has been receiving mixed response from the audience.
