New Delhi: Telugu actor Sivaji claimed that he was not affiliated to any party and the cause of Andhra Pradesh was dear to his heart. However, his presence at the Dharma Porata Deeksha staged by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in the national capital exposed Sivaji's true colors.

While claiming that he was not in Delhi to support any political outfit and that the interests of the state were paramount to him, Sivaji heaped lavish praise on the TDP chief. He described Chandrababu repeatedly as a great inddividual. Sivaji also said that there was no one taller than the TDP supremo. Instead of talking about Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh, he lavished praises on Chandrababu and Lokesh. Analysts say that it is evident that Sivaji who shot into limelight with his Operation Garuda theory, is a puppet in the hands of Chandrababu. It appears that is ready to go to any lengths to please Chandrababu and get into the TDP leader's good books. This is apparent from the way he spoke loosely about the prime minister and other leaders. Sivaji also tried to mislead people saying that it was the AP chief minister alone who had been fighting for SCS to the state, forgetting the many U-turns Chandrababu took on the issue. It appears that Sivaji has not seen YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's relentless fight for SCS.

The YSRCP chief has been fighting for Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh from the time of the bifurcation of the state. He had waged many a battle including, protests, rallies, hunger strikes, and creating awareness among AP citizens during the course of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra (padayatra).

The AP Leader of Opposition even directed his MPs to resign from the Lok Sabha on the issue of SCS last year. All these facts went unnoticed by Sivaji who kept singing praises of Chandrababu, falsely projecting him as the champion of SCS. The actor's presence at the deeksha clearly pointed to his bias and proved what YSRCP leaders had been stating all along. His proximity to the TDP leadership came out into the open.
