Hyderabad: A man made a visit to India from Dubai only to murder his wife.

The incident took place at a hotel in Secunderabad. According to police, Raheem from Gadwal moved to Dubai for employment. However, he suspected his first wife, Begum of cheating on him. Raheem believed that his wife was talking to other men on the phone and also having an illicit relationship with another man.

This led to various confrontations between the couple. Eventually, Raheem hatched out a plan to eliminate his wife.

After returning to Hyderabad on Tuesday, instead of heading home, he stayed at a hotel in Secunderabad.

Later, he called his wife to meet him in Hyderabad. Upon reaching the hotel, Begum had a huge discussion regarding Raheem's suspicions but a huge argument ensued between them.

In a fit, Raheem murdered his wife and even called the police to confess the murder. Raheem even claimed to the police that he had no other choice than to kill his wife.

While Raheem waited until the police arrived at the hotel, he absconded before the police caught hold of him. The police collected the details of the victim and informed her relatives.

A case has been registered against the accused and the body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem.
