2018’s Hit Telugu Movies So Far

So Far..yes that's out topic today. Looks like 2018 will be an eventful year for the Tollywood film industry. We are very close to completing two months in the new year. Of all the films which were released in the past one and half month many of them were blockbuster hits. Power star Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi was the first film which was released in 2018 but it didn't fare well at the box office. So let's have a look at 2018's Hit Telugu Movies So Far.

In the same week, Balakrishna's Jai Simha, Raj Tarun's Rangula Raatnam, Suriya's Gang but all these films did decent business. Anushka's Bhaagamathi was also released on occasion of Republic Day, January 26. In the second month of February, Varun Tej's Toli Prema, Nani's Awe, Sai Dharam's Inttelligent, Mohan Babu's Gayatri and Naga Shourya's Chalo were released. First half of this year is likely to become a best year to Tollywood stars. Few of recent releases have already become a blockbuster hits.

Jai Simha: Jai Simha which was released on January 12 and joined Rs 50 crores club within ten days of collections.

Bhaagamathie: Post Baahubali franchise, Anushka's first film which was released around Republic Day weekend was a big draw. People have expected it would be like her first women-centric film, Arundati but it didn't impress the audience much. The film was routine drama but it was not horror flick. It has also become a second blockbuster hit of 2018.

Chalo: Naga Shourya's Chalo is still running successfully in theatres which was released on February 2. The film was released with Ravi Teja's Touch Chesi Chudu who has decent fan following. Chalo has dethroned in terms of collections and content. This film has give a path-breaking success to Naga Shourya. Enjoying the success, the hero even booked an expensive car for Chalo movie director Venky Kudumula as payback in return.

Toli Prema: Varun Tej is basking in the success of his recent outing Toli Prema which is doing fantastic business at the worldwide box office. It is known fact that the tile has been inspired by Power star Pawan Kalyan's of film. The film has turned out to be a memorable hit and it is running successfully in theatres. The magic has been worked for Varun Tej and recently, Chiranjeevi has appreciated him at a felicitation ceremony last week in Hyderabad.

Awe: Have you watched Nani's Awe yet? Nani didn't play any important role but he had lent his voice to Awe film, most importantly he is the producer of the flick. The film has grossed $600k at the foreign box office in just five days. Nani's last three films Nenu Local, Ninnu Kori and MCA went on to become blockbuster hits. This year also started with success.
