YSRCP raises special status issue in Lok Sabha

YSRCP MPs protested in Lok Sabha over special status to Andhra Pradesh. It demanded that the promises made during the time of AP bifurcation be fulfiled.

The MPs, led by YSRCP MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, demanded for adjournment motion, which speaker Sumitra Mahajan did not permit. Home Minister Rajnath singh intervened and assured the MPs that justice would be done To Andhra Pradesh.

TRS MPs too had demanded that the High Court be divided into two. The Union Home Minister said Law Minister Sadanada Gowda was looking into it.
