YS Jagan reaches out to inaccessible North Andhra hamlets

YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's tour of various flood-hit areas of North Coastal Andhra is continuing. On Monday, he toured several interior villages in Vizianagaram district. 

A week after severe cyclonic storm Hudhud battered the coastline, most of the places are facing severe water crisis and several places still remained in darkness.

The YSRCP chief began his extensive tour from Ravivalasa of Bhogapuram mandal today. He visited several places in Pusapatirega mandal, including Konada and Tippalavalasa and consoled the victims.
The YSRCP chief spoke to farmers raising teak, cane sugar and other horticultural crops, who have suffered heavy losses. He assured the farmers and fisher folk that his party would mount pressure on the government and ensure that justice was done to them.
The cyclone which hit the coastline at a speed of 185kmph claimed more than 35 lives in the three north coastal districts of Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam and Vijayanagaram.
Jagan will stay put in north coastal districts to oversee the relief and rehabilitation works and till the normalcy returns.
