Woman, Teen Lover Held For Murder Of Husband
Hyderabad: A 25-year-old woman and her teenage paramour were arrested on Monday while they were transporting her husband’s body on a two-wheeler to dispose it after killing him.
The woman, Pravalika and her 16-year-old paramour were transporting the body of Pullaiah (36), an employee of a private company, on a bike from L B Nagar here to Kodad in Nalgonda, when a police patrol team spotted them at Pedda Amberpet on city outskirts, police said.
“The police team after inquiring them found that the man was beaten to death by both of them on Saturday night,” Deputy Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal said.
Hayathnagar police had initially registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC, the DCP said, adding, now these sections will be altered to murder and other charges.
After thorough questioning, the woman was arrested on Monday and the boy will be sent to Juvenile Home, he said. Further investigation is underway.
