Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan seems to be drawing inspiration from AP Leader of the Opposition and YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's people's connect programme, Praja Sankalpa Yatra. YS Jagan's Padayatra has evoked an overwhelming response from the time that he commenced his outreach programme on November 6, 2017 from Idupulapaya. The YSRCP chief will be touring the length and breadth of Andhra Pradesh to get a first-hand report of people's problems, especially under the four-year TDP rule, in order to come up with a people-friendly poll manifesto.

YS Jagan's Praja Sankalpa Yatra is gaining momentum by the day with lakhs of people pledging their support to the people's leader. His popularity has also made the Telugu Desam jittery.

The latest we hear is that Pawan Kalyan has decided to walk in YS Jagan's footprints. He kick-started his political campaign dubbed Praja Yatra in Telangana. He offered prayers at Kondagattu temple in Jagtiyal before embarking on a trip to Karimnagar where he will address party workers.

Unsurprisingly, the actor turned politician, often referred to in a tongue-in-cheek manner as a part-time politician, seems have no meticulous planning unlike the clear-cut programme of the YSRCP President, one thing seems clear. Pawan Kalyan seems to know that this is a sure shot way to connect with people. It remains to be seen as to how long the actor-politician would be able to sustain his campaign. If we are to judge from his previous attempts, Jana Sena could run out of steam soon.
