Meet Collector Amrapali’s Would-Be Husband, An IPS Officer

Warangal: Collector Amrapali of Warangal Urban is back in news. This time for the news of her marriage. According to reports, Amrapali will wed a 2011-batch IPS officer Sameer Sharma next month.

Sameer Sharma Superintendent of Police in the union territory -Daman and Diu. He is a native of Delhi. It is learned that the duo is seeing each other for the last three and half years. Parents of both are said to have consented to their marriage. Speculation is rife that Amrapali will go on leave from January 28. The marriage is expected to be held in Febraury.

However, details of venue are yet to be revealed. A reception will be organised in Warangal after the marriage on February 23. A native of Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, Amrapali is the first Collector of the newly carved out Warangal Urban district. Following transfers of District Collectors, Amrapali was given additional responsibility of Warangal Rural district.
