Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh special chief secretary P V Ramesh on Thursday has been given time till Monday by Hyderabad High Court to explain how long he would need to vacate the official house of the director general of MCR HRD Institute in Jubilee Hills as it needs to be handed over to the current director general V K Agarwal.

After becoming director general of the institute in 2013 Ramesh has been living in the house. However, Ramesh refused to vacate the house even after being made AP special chief secretary for the environment and forest wing citing personal problems.

In September the officer challenged the eviction notice sent by a single judge to vacate the house in a month.
