'We don't need dictators like Hitler'

The Congress and the CBI has hatched conspiracy to keep Jagan in Jail, said Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy's daughter Sharmila on Saturday. Sharmila, on the third-day of Maro Praja Prastanam padayatra, alleged that the Congress government is dumping all the popular projects that were implemented by YSR. She said, both Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu were ignoring public problems.

Terming him as the biggest betrayer for overthrowing his father-in-law, N T Rama Rao out of power, Sharmila said that Naidu forgot the two promises that he had made to get the powerful post. Chandrababu Naidu has a habit of breaking his promise and that he considered the state government only as a company and he thought he was the CEO of the company, she said.

Reminding people that Naidu always told the public to change their mindsets, Sharmila said that we needed a leader who understands people and their problems and not someone like Hitler who wants to change the mindsets of people.

Sharmila said that  when TDP was in power, many farmers committed suicide which has never occurred anywhere in the world. Interestingly, Naidu did not visit the farmers who were killed in the fire. However, he visited the policemen who fired the farmers. Stating that Naidu also filed cases against the farmers who were already in deep crisis, Sharmila reminded that YSR had undertaken a deeksha to protest against this atrocity.

She hit out at Naidu for submitting a letter to Union minister P Chidambaram just a day before Jagan's bail petition was to come up for hearing in the Supreme Court. This was also followed by the ED attachment notices only a few hours after the letter was submitted. She also hoped that God will help Jagan come out of crisis and also fulfill all the ideals of YSR as his son.
