Was this man Subhash Chandra Bose?

For years, there were rumours that a reclusive Sadhu called Gumnami Baba was Subhash Chandra Bose. Those who believed that Netaji did not die in the aircrash and lived incognito, have always argued that Gumnami Baba was in fact none other than Subhash Chandra Bose. 

Finally, when Gumnami Baba's treasures were unlocked from Faizabad treasury on Friday,there were 176 items and one of them was a uniform of Azad Hind Fauj, which Subhash led. Among the other possessions were a Rolex Watch, few letters from Netaji's family and some newspaper clippings.
Lalita Bose, the niece of Netaji, had in fact claimed in 1986 that Gumnami Baba was in fact Subhas Chandra Bose. It was on her insistence that the Allahabad High Court directed the district administration to preserve the belongings of Gumnami Baba.
After the belongings of Gumnami Baba were revealed after his death, a debate began that the seer was Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The belongings of the Baba have been sent for chemical treatment and would be on display from March.
