Velampalli Srinivas Also Set To Join YSRCP

Vijayawada: Former MLA from Vijayawada West constituency Velampalli Srinivas is all set to join the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP).

Addressing the media here on Sunday, Srinivas said he will formally join YSRCP on December 13 in the presence of YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Strongly condemning the anti-people policies of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and its chief N Chandrababu Naidu, Srinivas said all the state government's welfare programmes are aimed at the welfare of the rich and the affluent. "None of the policies are for the benefit of the common man," he said.

Several leaders from Congress are making a beeline to join the YSRCP under the leadership of YS Jagan. It may be noted that former chief minister Kasu Brahmananda Reddy's grandson Mahesh Reddy has already expressed his willingness to join the YSRCP. Similarly, East Godavari's senior leader Kandula Durgesh is set to join the party on December 12.
