Two in ACB net for receiving Rs 30,000 bribe

Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested two persons including an Assistant Director of Agriculture in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 30,000.

Saka Nagamanamma, Assistant Director of Agriculture of Addateegala division demanded the sum from a complainant for doing an official favour and accepted the amount through K Babu Rao yesterday, an ACB release said in Vijayawada today.

The duo were arrested after recovery of the bribe amount and produced before a ACB court in Vijayawada.
