So it's confirmed! We will get the Telugu version of Lust Stories which will release soon. It is reported that it would be produced by Ronnie Screwvala. Arujn Reddy- fame Sandeep Vanga, Pelli Chupoolu fame-Tharun Bhascker and Ghazi Attack -fame Sankalp Reddy and Nandini Reddy who is the lone female director in the list will be directing this four-episode anthology. As of now it is in its scripting stage and will begin shooting soon.

Meanwhile Nandini Reddy has chosen Tamil actress Amala Paul for the lead role in the first of the four episodes of the anthology. She has started shooting for the first episode recently.

Sources say that after seeing her bold performance in the Tamil film Aadai where she went nude, she was the first choice to play the lead. Amala had sent the tinsel world in a tizzy after her bold performance where even director Ram Gopal Varma couldn't help but admire her for her guts to do the nude bit. It is said that the first episode also features Jagapathi Babu in a key role.

Producer Ronnie Screwvala will produce this new age anthology for Netflix and by the looks of it , the stories will be completely different from the Hindi version, to suit the taste of the Telugu audience.

Amongst the four new-age directors, 'Oh Baby!' director Nandini Reddy is the senior of the lot, who has four films and two web series to her credit. The other three have hit films and have done short films earlier before embarking on a film career. They would surely pull it off with an off-beat stories, relevant to the new-age groups hooked to the Net.
