Keerthy Suresh who is basking in the glory after winning the National Award for Best Actress (2018) for her film ''Mahanati'', will now be seen in the title role of a new film titled ''Miss India''. The new film directed by Narendra Nath and the film's title teaser, was unveiled on Monday. Produced under East Coast Productions banner, Mahesh S Koneru who produced the hit '118' earlier this year, is bankrolling this project which has been shot in exotic locales across Europe. The actress looks glamorous and chic in the new role which is a complete contrast to what she portrayed in ''Mahanati''.

Touted be another female-centric movie, the film also has a stellar star cast, where Keerthy Suresh will be seen acting along side with senior actors Jagapathi Babu, Rajendra Prasad, Naresh. The other cast include Naveen Chandra whose ‘’Yevaru’’ has put him back in the spot light, Bhanushree Mehra, Sumanth S, Poojitha Ponnada, Arjun Reddy-fame Kamal Kamaraju, and Attarintiki Daredi actress Nadhiya.

Written by the Narendra Nath and Tharun, the musical score is by SS Thaman and cinematography is by Spanish cinematographer Dani Sanchez Lopez (who worked in ''Mahanati'') along with Vamsi P.

After this movie, Keerthy Suresh will be seen in a Malayalam film titled Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham (transl. Marakkar: The Lion of the Arabian Sea), a historical period film co-written and directed by Priyadarshan. The film is produced by Aashirvad Cinemas with Moonshot Entertainments and she will be acting with the Malayalam super star Mohanlal, Suniel Shetty, Arjun Sarja, Prabhu, Manju Warrier.
