Keerthy Suresh To Play Savitri, Again   

Keerthy Suresh became synonymous with Savitri after her appearance in the yesteryear actor's biopic Mahanati. Celebrities and fans heaped praises on the actress for immortalising Savitru through her performance in Mahanati. After her spellbound performance in the movie, Keerthy Suresh has agreed to play the same role again in her upcoming movie.

Well don't jump the gun, this film is no sequel to Mahanati. Keerthy has been approached by director Krish to perform Savithramma's role in the NTR biopic. As NTR and Savitri had worked together in many films, Krish thought of roping in Keerthy for Savitri's role in the movie. The actress has also given her nod after the director narrated her the script. It is worth mentioning here that Krish too featured in Mahanati as one of the directors for Savitri.

The NTR biopic stars Bala Krishna in titular role. Apart from playing his father's role, Balakrishna is also co-producing the movie along with Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Induri. The movie which went on floors recently also features Vidya Balan, Rana Daggubati, Mohan Babu and Sumanth in key roles.
