To survey doesn’t mean shouting at officials: Y.S.Jagan

Railway Koduru: YSRCP chief and the state opposition leader Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday evening toured the rain affected Railway Koduru area of the YSR district.

Even though the rains have been causing harm for the last 27 days the government had not reached out to those affected, he said. He demanded that the government immediately dispatch rations of 25 kilos of rice and cash to each affected family. Taking objection to TDP leaders shouting at the officials, he said to survey the affected areas does not mean shouting at the officials he said. If the officers are provided with resources and asked to work then they will do their job, he pointed out.

Y.S Jagan said that the government can shout at the officials after they have provided the affected areas with adequate supply of rice, ration and money and not yell at them even as the people complained about the CM not taking care of them.

He asked the government to find out for itself as to how many of the affected actually received any help from the government. People are unable to go to work so the government should provide them with cash of three to four thousand rupees, 25 kg rice, a kilo each of pulses and sugar, he said. Without making arrangements for any of them and simply shouting at the officials is not the right thing to do, he said.

People are coming from every village and complaining that the government is not doing anything to help them, he said.
