TSRTC Conductor Dons As Hairdresser
NIRMAL (Adilabad): As the TSRTC strike enters 39 day, the employees are facing severe financial troubles and failing to keep their monthly commitments like paying rent, school fees, daily needs and others. Some of them are taking extreme steps as they can’t face the present situation.
However, a conductor of TSRTC took it as a challenge and donned as hairdresser in his town for his livelihood. Mahipal of Ratnapur Kandli village in Nirmal rural mandal belongs to the hair dresser’s community. He was running a saloon in Nirmal before joining TSRTC. After the RTC JAC gave call for indefinite strike, he joined the strike along with other employees. After employees failed to get two months’ salary, he decided to take up his family occupation again.
“I’m joining my colleagues whenever there is some activity and also meeting them at the depot, when I get some leisure in the saloon shop”-Mahipal said.
