AP CM Comes To The Rescue Of Ailing Boy, Grants Aid Through CMRF

Vijayawada Central: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister came to the rescue of an ailing boy who was in need of financial aid for a brain surgery on Tuesday.

M Sasidhar (4) from Kasthuribaipet, In Vijayawada was admitted to the hospital after being diagnosed with dengue fever. The hospital authorities told him that the fever had spread to the brain, he had to be operated immediately, and the cost of the surgery would cost around RS 3 lakh. The boy's parents tried to source money but were not successful.

The Chief Minister read about the boy's story, which was published in several vernacular papers and responded to the boy's plight. He directed officials to provide all possible help to the family and arrange the amount for Sasidhar's treatment from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

Officials from the CM's office called the boy's parents, enquired about his health status and asked them to come down to the CM office with the related medical files.

Sasidhar's parents expressed their happiness at the Chief Minister directly responding to their plight and granting funds from the CMRF. The boy's schoolteachers and students also hailed the Chief Minister's timely assurance for Sasidhar's medical treatment.
