After Belly Dance, Talwar Dance Shakes Chandrayangutta

Hyderabad: Chandrayangutta area in the city is turning out to be a breeding ground for anti-social activities with each passing day. It is learnt that a few section of people in the locality are indulging in illegal and anti-social activities to ensure the area stays in the news. Even as memories of obscene belly dance at a recent wedding event are afresh, a similar incident happened in the area on Saturday, that had members of a wedding celebration dance with swords and knives in their hands, in the name of "Talwar Dance."

For as long as three hours, the Talwar dance continued outside a marriage hall across the main road here, even as the police department turned a blind eye to the event. Locals in the area were terrified and asked the police to take action. However, even 48 hours after the incident, no action has been initiated.
