Vote Against National Parties: Owaisi

Hyderabad: All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi addressed Dalits, Muslims and Adivasis to unite together and vote against the national parties in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. At a meeting held in Kalyan in Mumbai, Owaisi questioned, “How many Bharat Ratnas have been given to SCs, STs, OBCs and Muslims?”. Referring to the Bharat Ratna conferred on Baba Saheb Ambedkar, he said, it was awarded out of pressure.

The AIMIM chief remarked, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi says that had Sardar Patel lived for more years, the country would have been different? I say, had Baba Saheb Ambedkar lived for 10 more years, there would not have been cases such as Rohit Vemula’s in India? The Constitution is the living will of Ambedkar and it must be implemented in full spirit.” Owaisi pleaded with the people there to look for their regional parties and support them.
