Telangana Police Bust Maoist Attack In Khammam On Election Day

Khammam: The Telangana police nabbed a Maoist Action team which had planned to set off a landmine blast targeting the cops in Bhadradri Kothagudem. According to sources, the ultras had placed a landmine aimed at striking the cops on the election day. Fortunately, the police could bust their plan and apprehend the culprits.  It is learnt that police officials moved the extremists to a secure location to interrogate them and probe the incident further.
