Hyderabad: Seeking the Andhra Pradesh government's affidavit for the petitions on the attack on Leader of Opposition in AP Assembly and YSR Congress party (YSRCP) Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the High Court on Thursday adjourned the hearing in all petitions filed on the attack to Monday. The Court ordered the State and the Central governments to file affidavits by Monday.

Meanwhile, YSRCP MLA Alla Rama Krishna Reddy (RK) filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the High Court seeking the transfer of YS Jagan attack case to the CISF from the AP Police, so that a fair probe by a Central investigative agency be carried out. In the PIL, the Union Home Secretary, Union Civil Aviation Secretary, the Airport Authority of India, Director-general of the National Investigation Agency, Chief Secretary of AP, Principal Secretary of AP Home ministry, AP Director General of Police (DGP), Vizag East division Assistant Commissioner, Vizag police Commissioner and the House Officer of Vizag airport police station have been included as defendants.

On the other side, the Supreme Court asked the Centre to submit an affidavit on the terms and conditions to conduct a public hearing in Telangana, Odisha and Chhattisgarh over the areas that are to be submerged in waters from the Polavaram project. It directed the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change to file the affidavit by Saturday.
