There could be a possibility of the Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) and the CPI parties announcing their list on Tuesday evening. Out of the 74 seats, 65 seats have been allotted to the Congress and the Telugu Desam Party have announced 9 candidates in the first round.
But what has come as a shocker for the TJS and the CPI is that the Congress has declares its candidates for Asifabad and Station Ghanpur seats, which the TJS were seeking and the Kothagudem seat for which the CPI was seeking, leaving them in a sticky situation.
The Grand Alliance parties had earlier stated that they would announce the list of candidates together but the Congress which is playing big brother has gone ahead and announced its list at night from Delhi followed by TDP with its 1st list in a hurried manner, as the poll date is fast approaching. The TJS and CPI may make an official announcement about their list of candidates by Tuesday evening.
