Nizamabad: Telangana caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao seems to have sentimental reasons for choosing Armoor in Nizamabad district, as the first constituency for which he issues B forms to candidates in elections.

In the 2014 general elections, KCR had first issued the nomination form to A. Jeevan Reddy from Armoor Assembly constituency from the TRS.

KCR seems to be repeating it this time in the hope of winning, not just the seat, but the state elections, as well. He has handed over the first B Form to Jeevan Reddy, who will be seen contesting from Armoor for another term.

After dissolving the Assembly, KCR had released the list of 105 candidates, including Armoor, on September 6. As it turns out, the Armoor candidate was the first to receive the B Form. The electorate in Armoor have thrown their weight behind the TRS since its nascent stages going back to 2001.

Mothe village in Velpur mandal has also set a record by unanimously supporting the TRS and boycotting all other political parties. In the zilla parishad and mandal parishad elections, TRS candidates secured a good number of votes.
