The Telangana Pradesh Congress Election Commission Coordination Committee chairman sought the cancellation of the schedule announced for inclusion of names in the the final voters' list. He said that while the exercise was to be completed based on electoral lists of January 1, 2019, the schedule was now based on the voters' lists of January 1, 2018.

Shashidhar Reddy said that was in possession of concrete evidence which he submitted to the Central Election Commission on September 14. He added that the petition was likely to come up for hearing next week.
