Hyderabad: Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) made a sensational comment ahead of the cabinet meeting that is scheduled to be held before the Telangana Rashtra Samithi's massive public meeting 'Pragati Nivedana Sabha' here today. The minister opined that today's cabinet meeting would not be the last one this term, amid much hype and speculation over Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's (KCR) decision to dissolve the Legislative Assembly. "Me and minister Mahender Reddy will not attend the cabinet meeting," said the Siricilla MLA, who is overlooking the arrangements of Pragati Nivedana Sabha here at Kongarakalan in the city outskirts.

On the other side, a press briefing is expected to be made following the cabinet meeting. However, it is unclear whether KCR will address the media before flying to Pragati Nivedana Sabha meeting location.

Asked about the comments made by the Opposition parties, KTR said that they were fearing defeat in the upcoming elections. To put forward the progress made by the State government in the last four years will be the main motive of the meeting, he added.
