TRS-BJP Alliance Impossible: Kishan Reddy

Nalgonda: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Floor leader in Telangana legislative Assembly G Kishan Reddy on Friday clarified that his party will not ally with Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in the upcoming elections. Speaking to media here during his visit as the party’s in-charge for Nalgonda parliamentary constituency, Kishan Reddy said that the BJP will never be friends with any political party that is a friend of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM). He said that unlike TRS or the Congress, the BJP will always follow directions of the Constitution and the Courts in matters pertaining to caste-based reservations.

Kishan Reddy said that all those who want caste-based reservations could vote for the TRS or the Congress. He added that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) was completely ignoring the Srisailam Left Bank Canal tunnel works while focusing only on Kaleshwaram Project. The BJP leader criticized the State government for leaving more than 70% of the faculty positions vacant in Universities across the State. "Why does the Governor express satisfaction even though he is well aware the situation?" he questioned.
