Nalgonda: Congress MLC Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy challenged leaders from the Telangana Rashta Samithi (TRS) over the 2019 election results in the Assembly constituencies under Nalgonda and Bhongir Parliamnetary constituencies. "I will quit politics if the TRS wins all the Assembly seats in Nalgonda and Bhongir Parliamentary constituencies," he said in a meeting organized after inaugurating a water plant in Shaligowraram mandal in the district.

The Congress leader said that people of Nalgonda district have always had faith in the Congress party and that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) can only dream about winning in the district. "Even if a 100 KCRs come to the district for campaigning, it doesn't make a difference. KCR's name can be entered into the Guinness Book of Records for his specialization in telling lies," he criticized.

People of the state are not ready to believe KCR's lies once again, the Congress MLC remarked. "KCR's lies began with cheating on his word given to senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi after she declared statehood to Telangana, and continued with his promise of making a Dalit a CM, double bedroom houses in every village, a job to every household, KG to PG eductaion and others. The TRS government has immersed the state's economy in debts," he added.

Rajagopal Reddy said that KCR did not have time to visit hundreds of farmers who gave up lives, but, he had all the time in the world to attend marriages in other states by helicopters. Sarpanch, Vemula Shailaja Ashok, party leaders Murarishetty Krishna Murthy, Talluri Murali, Bandapalli Komaraiah and others participated in the meeting.
