Techie Dies After Workout In Office Gym

Hyderabad: A 22-year-old software engineer collapsed at the office gym after a few minutes of his workout on Thursday.

Varun Kumar, a native of Vizag, was an employee of the Dell at the Hitec City in Hyderabad and was a resident of Matrusri Nagar in Miyapur. On Thursday after completing his work at the office, he went to the gym located in the top floor of the office building.

After working out an hour, Varun complained of chest pain and started sweating profusely. The gym instructors asked him to take deep breath and rest for a while. Suddenly, Varun collapsed and he was shifted to the company hospital. After a preliminary examination, the doctors there shifted him to Max Cure Hospitals, where the doctors declared that he was brought dead.

The police registered a case and handed over the body to the family members after post-mortem.
