Teacher gets 6 year jail for sexual assault

Hyderabad: A 40-year-old teacher has been has been sentenced to six year imprisonment for molesting a seven-year-old girl at her home, while he was giving her home tutions.
The incident happened in October last year at Hakeempet, where the accused Md Abullah (40) sexually assaulted her at home. when the incident came to light, herfamily mebers lodged a complaint with the police, who registerd a case against the accused under 354-A, 354 of the IPC and sections 8 & 9 of the POCSO Act, 2012.
Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge of the Nampally criminal court on Wednesday awarded six-year imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 7,000 on Md Abdullah.
