Stop making provocative statements: YS Jagan

YSRCP president Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy appealed to all leaders to desist from making irresponsible statements which might trigger tensions between the employees of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

“TRS president K.Chandrasekhar Rao, who makes calls for amiability and affection between both the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh,  also makes provocative statements that vitiate the atmosphere," Jagan said in a statement.

Y.S.Jagan asked Chief Minister designate of Andhra Pradesh N.Chandrababu Naidu to address the concerns of the employees of Andhra Pradesh. He appealed to Chandrababu to stand by them at this critical hour. He wanted Chandrababu to play a more pro-active role in the division of employees between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

He also requested the Centre and both the state governments to take steps to ensure timely payment of salaries to the employees. A smooth and hassle-free division of the state is the need of the hour and the everyone should become active partners in the amicable division of the state.

“Employees of both the states have to work in the common capital for a period of ten years. It is not proper for anyone to harm the congenial atmosphere between the employees of both the states,” said Y.S.Jagan.

"It is not proper for anyone to create a gap between the employees of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana,” said Y.S.Jagan.

He warned all those that he wouldn't keep quiet if the division of employees was not done in an amicable manner.
He added that they would stand by the employees at this critical hour.

“Our support will always be there for preserving their lawful rights,” said the YSRCP president.
