Married man ties 'mangalsutra' to ex-lover on road

Hyderabad, In a book penned by prolific author Sophie Monroe,  she says  “The brain is the most outstanding organ. It works 24/7, 365 from birth until you fall in love.”

On Friday,  Sophie must have found the perfect person who   exemplified her quote. Vijay Kumar, a married man,  tied 'mangalsutra',  around the neck of his former lover on the middle of the road.

As per reports, the girl and her family were tenants in Vijay Kumar's house in Musheerabad. She and Vijay fell in love, much against the wishes of their parents.

Unale to bear his parents' ire, Vijay married a girl of their choice. In spite of having a baby girl, he could not forget his first love. Unable to take the agony of separation from his loved one,  Vijay on Friday encountered his lover on the road, and promptly tied the 'mangalsutra' around her neck.

His wife, on the other hand, did not take his love story too kindly and complained to the police. Vijay was soon taken into custody.
