Stampede at Janmabhoomi, one killed

An elderly woman was killed in a stampede at the Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru programme organised in Gudu Mastan Street of Jammalamadugu in YSR Kadapa district.

There was a huge congregation of beneficiaries and those whose names have been removed at the Janmabhoomi venue. In the melee, a woman fell down and was trampled upon.
Three days ago, a woman died and another senior citizen tried to end her life when their names were removed from the list of pension beneficiaries.
