SCR GM gathers inputs from TS ministers for railway budget

Hyderabad: Ravindra Gupta, the general manager of South Central Railway on Wednesday, met with ministers from Telangana. Giving attention to the Telangana state in the forthcoming railway budget was the main topic for discussion. At the metting, the MPs demanded that pending railway projects in Telangana should be completed.

MP Burra Narsaiah Goud requested for a triple railway line between Warangal and Hyderabad, while MP Nandi Yellaiah requested for a station at Alampur's Jogulamba temple. MP Mallareddy was angry about the fact that there was absolutely no development on the agenda from last year's meeting. He also demanded the the facilities at the Secunderabad railway station be improved.

The MPs give their suggestions and inputs on various development activities in the state railways and discuss on the new railway projects that are to be taken up. It is customary for the railways to sit down with the public servants to gather inputs and suggestions for the railway budget.
