Satyam Yadav claims life threat from TG Venkatesh

Kurnool district Congress Seva Dal chairman B. Satyam Yadav on Saturday approached State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) claiming that he has a life threat from minor irrigation minister TG Venkatesh.

He alleged that Minister's goons bashed him up when he questioned Venkatesh as to why he appointed Gangadhar as director for Irrigation department when the latter doesn't have party membership.

He explained to SHRC that the minister threatened to kill him if he did not leave Kurnool.  He requested the SHRC to provide security and take action against the minister. SHRC which admitted the petition directed the police to probe the issue.
