Sakshi reporter's brave act: receives wide appreciation

Sakshi reporter Sri Rangam Venkanna's brave act of capturing images of the suspected terrorists in his camera is being applauded by one and all. Police thanked the brave journalist for the photos which are now being used for investigation. Sakshi's Nalgonda reporter Venkanna on Saturday risked his life and darted forward to get closer to the terrorists. He clicked pictures of them carrying arms.
One of the suspects noticed and aimed his gun at Venkanna and even shouted at the Sakshi journalist. A bus which came in between terrorists and our reporter saved Venkanna's life. Soon after police came chasing and the firing began killed constable Nagaraju and severely injured Inspector Siddaya. Later, a chase followed and both the terrorists were killed.
This brave act of Venkanna received accolades.Telangana press academy announced Rs.15,000 cash prize. The Telangana state union of working journalists also released Rs10,000 cash prize to Venkanna. Sakshi is proud to have such journalists. Congratulations Srirangam Venkanna.
