Ace film director Ram Gopal Varma is a die-hard fan of Veteran Bollywood actress Sridevi. She has acted in nearly 300 films and she was both a cinema as well as a fashion icon to the film industry. Her sudden demise has left millions of her fans in a state of deep shock.

Among them is Ram Gopal Varma so much so that he's finding it hard to come to terms with Sridevi's death. Sridevi passed away on February 24 in the wee hours at a luxury hotel in Dubai. Whole the body is yet to be flown in to India, formalities are being carried out.

Now, back home Ram Gopal Varma even lashed out at god for taking Sridevi away from us. The latest we hear is that the post-mortem suggested she died of accidental drowning in the bath tub. Now, the Dubai police has handed over the case to the Dubai public prosecution who are now investigating further.

Her last rites is expected to be held today in Mumbai. The entire film fraternity has already arrived at Anil Kapoor's Bungalow where her body will be kept for paying final respects. Sridevi is survived by her husband Boney Kapoor and two daughters Jhanvi and Khushi Kapoor.

On the other hand, Ram Gopal Varma was busy with his yet to be titled flick featuring Nagarjuna which is on floors. The duo has collaborated after ten years and most of the fans have been waiting for the release of the film's poster.

In a latest development, due to the loss of Sridevi, RGV has decided to postpone the film's shoot and poster release for a while. He shared the news himself on his Twitter handle have a look...

Now, it remains to be seen how long RGV will take to come to terms with the news of Sridevi's death who he even wrote a book on in November 2015.

In the book titled “Guns and Thighs”, Varma describes Sridevi as the “Goddess of beauty” and why he cannot forgive her husband Boney Kapoor.

“It was a love letter… I was going overboard but that was my feeling. Everyone can have a crush on anyone, be it on a real person or a celebrity, you enjoy that feeling of high… It is almost like a drug.

“…To see Sridevi making tea in Boney Kapoor’s kitchen was a huge letdown. I won’t forgive him because he brought the angel down from heaven to the kitchen of his apartment,” Varma said while confessing his love for the “Chandni” star.
