Controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma always does the unthinkable. RGV who takes potshots at many rarely heaps praise on anyone.

Interestingly, RGV heaped praises on his fellow director Puri Jagan for his work on upcoming flick Mehbooba. He went on to say that Mahesh Babu's all time hit Pokiri, directed by Puri is a big flop in comparison to Mehbooba.

Puri who worked as an assistant director with RGV, was overwhelmed by his message and says that he received his life's biggest compliment, adding that he is moved that his boss (RGV) considers him a well crafted filmmaker.

The film Mehbooba is special for Puri because he is all set to launch his son Akash Puri. The film set against a backdrop of India-Pakistan 1971 war, is an intense love story. The first look was shared by Puri last September on his Twitter handle.
