As the Siddham public meetings of YSRCP at Bheemili, Denduluru, Raptadu and Medarametla turning into a sea of heads, the TDP is getting restless as their party’s programmes are getting lukewarm response from the cadre and the people. Siddham rally at Medarametla in Bapatla witnessed nearly 1,8 lakh people in attendance.

Opposition TDP is unable to digest the growing influence of ruling YSRCP among the people of Andhra Pradesh. Realising that the opposition party cannot match the magnitude and scale of YSRCP’s public meetings, Nara Lokesh took to digital media to mislead the people and alleged that green mats technology of movies was being used to show the overwhelming crowd.

Taking to X, Lokesh claimed that the ruling party was using ‘green mats’ to mask the poor attendance of people at Siddham meetings. YSRCP’s social media team bombarded the opposition leader with photos and videos of people filling the roads and jam packed venues to tackle the misinformation about its rallies. The ruling party also clarified that it does not indulge in gimmicks like graphics or green mats to claim its popularity among the electorate.

As the TDP was talking about use of green mats technology, Tollywood director Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV jumped into the discussion and said, “your (referring to Nara Lokesh) has no limits.”

In his tweet, RGV asked Lokesh to check with his friends in the film industry about the feasibility of using the green mat technology during a live streaming event.
